Sweet Potatoes

Could someone teach my brother how to eat without getting food all over?

Santa

One night last week, we went to the fire hall and the firemen fed us some great sausage and pancakes.
Then Santa came.
My cousin Trey had his picture of what he wanted all ready to show Santa.
Tired Wyatt wanted to pull on his beard and look for someone to take him home and put him to bed.
I much preferred clinging to Aunt Katie...
...eating lots of sausage and making sure my mom couldn't get a good picture of me sitting with cousin Ashley, Aunt Amy and Grandma Carol.
Those things were much less scary than having to sit on Santa's lap and tell him I wanted gum, and I still got a bag of treats from Santa!

What Do You Think

This is our daddy when he was 9 months old. Do you think Wyatt will look like this in a few months?

Some other news for you. I sent a great envelope full of confetti to the kind people who commented about my chomping. We didn't count how many pieces but there were a lot in all shapes, sizes and colors. I can't go chomp with Erik, but I can send him my work!

Chomp

I spend hours "chomping" these days. I prefer it over eating. To celebrate that this is my 100th post, I will send 100 little pieces of paper to whoever comments on this post first! Anyone want some confetti?

PLEASE HELP

Will you PLEASE help me out? My aunt and uncle are trying to sell their house so they can move to a house where they can have a dog. They have to have an outside dog because of asthma, and they found the perfect house for an outside dog. They just need to sell their house first. Could you tell anyone you know that there’s a great house for sale in southwest Lincoln?

You can tell people they would be getting one of the best cared for houses in town (I never saw it dirty.), a meticulously tended lawn, friendly neighbors in a nice neighborhood, a great school, and a very efficient heating system in addition to a lot of other great things. They only pets that have lived there are fish and hermit crabs and my mom is really envious of their laundry and storage rooms. Let me know if you have any questions. You can see more information about it here.

"Eating"

Wyatt is starting to eat some food with a spoon now. I helped my mom feed him yesterday. I kept telling her I wanted to do it all by myself but she insisted on helping me. I don't really know why we say he's eating. It looks like they put some food in his mouth with the spoon and half of it all comes out again. He doesn't seem all that excited about the food. He's more excited about the spoon and could care less if there was food on it or not. I'm going to have to give him something good to try so he can start to see what he's missing out on.

"Great" Visitors

I had more great visitors this weekend. My "Great" Aunts came to see me. I helped Cindy make muffins.
I also made sure to wake her up early in the morning to tell her I'd gone potty and needed some gum. I actually woke my mom and dad up with that news too. You see, I still sleep in a diaper, but this morning I woke up, walked to my potty, took off my diaper and went potty while they were all still in bed. Then I went to wake them up.

Back to my "Great" Aunts. Both Nancy and Cindy willing played with my farm with me when I asked and they read me some great books. I love having people come and play!

Fun Visitors!

We had some fun people come visit us. Look at what a good time we had.

They got to be around the field when I got my first grain cart and combine ride. I wasn't as excited about it as all my little boy friends might have been. Even though I cried and said I didn't want to ride, my mom made me and it wasn't so bad.

Ponytail

One of the books I really like to read to myself is what I call the "Ponytail Book." In the book Stephanie has her mom put a 'straight out the back ponytail' in her hair. My mom tried that with me today. (Jessy, It would've looked so much better if you could've done it.)

I spend a lot of time reading books to myself and to Wyatt these days. When I was reading today my mom tried to take a picture of my ponytail.
I wish she wouldn't have interrupted me in the middle of my book.
So I tried to ignore her (you know you just look away if you're trying to ignore someone) but she still took a picture. Moms these days!

On the Move

Today I kept my panties clean and dry all day! I'd do about anything for gum. Thanks for sending me gum in the mail Grandpa Billy.

Other big news around here is that Wyatt is trying to be a big boy. I'm getting a little concerned that he's going to be getting into my stuff soon. Instead of just laying on his back all the time, he rolls over and looks around at things on his tummy. He loves being up and looking around in his exersaucer too.

My BIG NEWS

You friends are good guessers. If you guessed that I was going to have another sibling, well, I'm just not ready to have to give up more attention. If you guessed that we're getting new carpet in the toy room, then you don't know how much my mom does not like to put effort or money into a place she doesn't own.
My BIG NEWS is that I'm wearing panties! No more diapers for me, except for when I go to bed at night. I've gotten two whole packs of smarties in the last two days out of this going potty deal.

Now that I've got this going potty deal figured out, I've had a talk with Baby about going poopy on the potty. I told her if she'd go poopy on the potty she'd get two candies, then I made her practice.

In case you were wondering...

...what I've been up to and what my brother and I look like lately, here's a little bit to hold you over until I share my BIG news with you. If you study my video carefully, you might find a clue.

My video is a little sample of how I spent some of my time today. I was trying to wear a path in the carpet by running back and forth from the kitchen to the living room. This time the piano got in my way on the way back. Taking care of "White Baby" (some people who watch me actually have a "black baby") sure keeps me busy.

Toe TIme

This guy, my brother, likes to chew on his toes these days, even with his 2 new teeth. He's a really long boy (26.75 inches = 92nd percentile), but he has no trouble getting those toes to his mouth. I think he actually likes to chew on them to help his teeth come in. You know what I say about that? "That's Silly!"

He's also 15 pounds and 11 ounces, if you wanted more of his stats. I can't give you the comparison to me when I was 4 months old because my mom's too lazy to go find my stats and has dishes and a list of other things to do. Sorry.
