13 Pivots

Last week I helped my dad check 13 pivots. We rode the 4 wheeler, checked the drippers and made sure they were spraying water and moving. At one of the pivots, Dad even had me listen for him on the 2 way radio. I had toys to play with while I waited, but I just sat and listed for him to tell me to push the black button. I didn't want to miss it.

Today he told me that same pivot had been stuck again. I told him that I was sorry I couldn't help him, but I had to stay at home and play with Meredith.

I asked Dad if I could try a piece of field corn. Even after you chew it, it's still in your mouth. Sweet corn is much better.
