Toshi and In-Law

Sometimes I play with Toshi, but no one can see her.  This week I also told my mom and dad that I have a sister named In Law.  That was after I asked them, "Are you going to fill those boots with candy?" Yesterday those boots had candy in them because "Santa obeyed God and put candy in them." For some reason my mom laughs at me a lot.

Candy Land in a Shed

Daddy put up a shed last week. Wyatt and I had so much fun going in and out of it that I didn't want to stop playing in it. So after supper, instead of playing Candy Land at the kitchen table we played it in the shed.

Then it was time to go to bed and I was very mad that I couldn't sleep in the shed too.

Me: Did you know I like you (pointed to Wyatt) and you (pointed to mommy) and did you know I like my name?

Mom: You do, hu? Do you know who gave you your name?

Me: God

Mom was making me some breakfast the other day and was going to put cheese on it. Daddy does this most of the time so I had to help her. I told her "Remember, I like the wrapped up kind?" I hear my mom call this fake cheese sometimes, but she wrinkled her nose and gave it to me.

We have been mean to not tell you the happy news that we found Baby! The day after we found her, mommy told me that the Huskers lost the football game. That made me wonder "How did the football and Baby get lost?"

My First Program

Cousin Time

My parents sometimes forget about me when I'm with my any of my cousins because we have so much fun playing by ourselves. For Thanksgiving I got to spend a lot of time with two of my cousins. Some of the time we played that I was the baby and they were the dad and mom. We also played Barbies, made turkey cookies, and other things my mom and dad don't know. I have pictures of two of the things I like to do with them.

I got to see "Daddio" do a little work today. "Daddy works by himself." At supper he said that maybe I could help him when I get older. I said, "I can hammer and you can screwdriver." We decided we could take turns, but I made sure to let him know that  "Wyatt's too little to hammer and screwdriver."

Hunting

My dad likes to hunt, and he's getting me ready for when I can hunt with him someday.

I got to pretend practice with a pink gun. "We shot the window but we don't eat windows."

Hopefully when I hunt the turkey's will want to get shot. One day my daddy didn't see any when he went looking, so I told him, "Maybe the turkey's didn't want to get shoot."

Healthy Again

We have not been feeling good around here lately. I know what it means to throw up now. That was very scary and sad to learn. I was really worried about how dirty I got my jammies, but they're all clean now. Wyatt didn't get better as fast as me. He didn't feel good for over a week, and I don't know what made him sick. He did not like to eat, would sometimes just cry and cry and throw things, wanted to be held by mom a lot and was not very happy. He went to the doctor and now he's on medicine for his double ear infection. Now he's back to eating like he always used to.

 

Missing Baby

My baby named Baby is missing. That's her up there from about 2 years ago. She looks about the same now. If you see her, could you send her home. My parents are worried, and I'm afraid she might be crying and need her diaper changed. I miss sleeping with her.

A Chicken and A Penguin

We had fun trick or treating! I loved being a penguin,

and Wyatt was happy being a chicken. (Thanks for the costumes Miles!)

I don't know why I had a bow tie because penguins don't have bow ties, and I would still like to know what a penguin says. Wyatt would say "doodle doodle doo" if you asked him what a rooster said.

We got to go trick or treating with our friends Sully and Lincoln. I told my mom before I went to bed that I want to go trick or treating with Sully again.

Buckles

If something has buckles or snaps, I love it. Just ask all  my neighbors with dogs on strings. I know they are leashes, but I like to call them strings sometimes.

A very nice lady let me borrow her red leash. I put it on a cat I have that is now Puppy. I'm teaching him tricks, taking good care of him, taking him everywhere they'll let me, and buckling and unbuckling his leash as much as possible. 

"Harving" a Pumpkin

Grandpa Billy grew this huge pumpkin and gave it to us.

 We "harved" it. I can say carve, but I say harve most of the time instead.
