Getting ready for bed with my cousin Erik
Reading "Bear Hunt" to "baby" - Baby usually has "eyes" in it's mouth. I came up with that idea on my own.

Special Visitor
I had a special visitor this week. You can see some of the things we did together on his blog.

For some unknown reason I was crabby a lot while he was here, but it was fun to have someone to play with other than my mom. Thanks for coming Erik!

Cows
We took another road trip. This time to the farm. My strong Uncle Darin actually picked up a one day old calf so I could pet it. For those who would like a little farm education, this calves mom was a heifer so she's not as protective of her baby as a cow would be. I was happy to pet the calf but really enjoyed seeing all the cows from a distance even though the noisy, diesel pickup we had to ride in to go see them was a little scary to me. I didn't want to leave my dad's lap. (Yes, I wasn't in a car seat, but we weren't on the road much either. We actually drove on the grass and dirt!) On the way home I said to my mom and dad, "Cows...Kitties...Puppies." Those are the great things you get to see on the farm.

Cereal
I now have a new breakfast option - cereal with milk. I like it. It takes some concentration to get the cereal to my mouth but I usually only lose a few pieces. Here's how it works.
First of all, don't worry if your hair isn't done yet for the day. Carefully carry the cereal with your spoon to your mouth. Pick up the ones you drop and put them back in the milk.
When the cereal gets stuck on the side of the bowl do like this:
Then when all the cereal is gone you drink the milk and say "More ________." It depends what kind of cereal you had that day for what you put in the blank.

Puzzling
I've been keeping busy doing puzzles these days. I don't really have a favorite one but once I start on a puzzle, I like to do it over and over again. Thankfully, Aunt Jill let me borrow a bunch of her puzzles. Mom says puzzling is really helping to expand my vocabulary. Here I am doing a puzzle on Monday that Aunt Jill brought over on Saturday night. I've practiced this one a lot.
