Wheat Harvest

Last week I went out to help Uncle Brent and Aunt Amy harvest wheat. I rode in the semi with daddy, the tractor with Amy,

and in the combine with Brent.

Since we weren't cutting wheat the whole time, I also got to run in the sprinkler with Ashley,

spend the day with Grandma Carol and jump on Grandpa Billy's trampoline. I had fun doing all of that.
Wyatt and Daddy had fun looking at the kittens,
and Mommy had fun taking pictures of us and the beautiful rainbow.

I Can't Be Left Out

This is how things happen at our house. Wyatt will be playing with something and mom and dad start to take pictures of him or play with him.

If they like him doing something, I think I should do it too.

Everyone is okay with this, unless I take what Wyatt's having fun with away from him. I just think if he's having fun, I should too. I don't see why not.

Wyatt's First Kiss

Remember Wyatt's first girlfriend? They got to see each other again last night.
I think he still likes her. He actually gave her a kiss!
He doesn't usually kiss girls other than mom and I!

I didn't ask how long Megan was going to keep staying away from other boys. That seemed a little too nosy of a question to ask my brother's girlfriend, but I'm sure if the right guy comes along she might consider going on a date. Actually, I'm not ready for Wyatt to have a girlfriend anyway, so if you'd like to date her, let me know and I'll figure out how to get you her info.

Beautiful, Bubbly, Bean Pole Brother

My cousins and I were doing each others hair the other day. Wyatt was trying to put clips in his hair too, so we helped him. Don't you think he's a pretty boy?
He has cute little curls, especially when he's hot.
How long do you think my mom will go before she lets him get a hair cut?
Wyatt also thinks he's pretty funny. Mom says he has the best one year old laugh ever. He does things and laughs and makes other people laugh. I try the same thing and they don't laugh at me. I don't see why not.
Then there's the bean pole part.
At the doctor this week, he weighed 20 pounds 12 ounces. That's the 12th percentile and he eats more than me. He was 31.5 inches tall, which is the 80th percentile.

Boy what a brother!

Bear Crawl

Wyatt still doesn't walk by himself much. He decided it hurts his knees to much to crawl on our driveway so he bear crawls instead.

Driving With This Boy...

...usually goes something like this...
Here it is with sound effects.
He clearly doesn't learn from me.
Too bad for Wyatt that we have a lot of driving this summer. The last trip we took, I slept three hours and he slept 20 minutes. Mom and Dad are sure hoping someone else wants to ride with him on our next few trips. Maybe you could give them some ideas on how to make it better for him. They need help.
