13 Pivots

Last week I helped my dad check 13 pivots. We rode the 4 wheeler, checked the drippers and made sure they were spraying water and moving. At one of the pivots, Dad even had me listen for him on the 2 way radio. I had toys to play with while I waited, but I just sat and listed for him to tell me to push the black button. I didn't want to miss it.

Today he told me that same pivot had been stuck again. I told him that I was sorry I couldn't help him, but I had to stay at home and play with Meredith.

I asked Dad if I could try a piece of field corn. Even after you chew it, it's still in your mouth. Sweet corn is much better.

Wyatt didn't want to get his face wet but he wanted to go "off" the diving board.

He wouldn't get his face wet during lessons but he decided it was okay like this.

Rodeo Time

We went to a real rodeo with buckin' bulls and buckin' horses. Wyatt liked the clowns the best and I liked the pretty girls on horses. I didn't like the buckin' bulls. I was afraid when Dad went back to the rodeo that he was going to ride one.

Wyatt had to wear my pink shoes because the boots Mom brought for him were too small.

Two days after that rodeo we went to our own rodeo at a camp. We were afraid we'd have to ride buckin' bulls so we were scared at first. We had fun after we figured out we weren't going to get hurt. We had more fun at the camp after the rodeo too. Check out the pictures to see what we did.

Mom finally bought us some paint. We painted on paper today for the first time.

Wyatt Getting Dressed

Wyatt likes to get into the car by himself but he doesn't like to get dressed by himself. Dad has been working with him on this, but sometimes Wyatt doesn't even want to pull down his own shorts! He can put his pants on and off but the other day it turned out funny.

As you can see my parents need some help with their bathroom. They have a new vanity bought with room for two sinks but Dad just needs to find the time to put it in!
