I wonder...

...that "guy" on top of the capitol, "Does he need help getting down?"

Washing Dishes

I ask my mom if I can wash my fingers and the dishes a lot, and she lets me. I get to wash in the kitchen now after I paper mached the sink that once. Once I get everything washed that's in the sink and make sure they hear me say, "I need something to wash!" to get something new. It sure stinks when they run out of things that need washing.

Parades = Candy

I've been to two parades in the last two weeks. At the first parade I went to I learned so well that you run into the street when you see candy and hear your parents yell to go get it, that the first time they threw candy at the second parade, I ran into the street right passed all the candy. After I figured out my mistake, I didn't want to put the candy in the candy bag, but it was also hard to pick up more when my hands were full, so I eventually dropped it in the bag and made sure to eat some of it at the same time. Ashley shared her sucker with me too!

Cousins and the Combine

Last week some special visitors came from China to look at how we grow wheat around here. All of the big machinery was lined up, which was perfect for me and my cousins to play on. They can climb up and down them by themselves. I prefer to be more careful and ask for help. They also know all the fun things to do and the comfy places to be. I have a lot of learning to do.

Derby

I know these very nice people who live too far away from me who have horses. If you want a very nice horse, I can get you their number. Doesn't he look like the type of guy you'd like to buy a horse from?
On our long drive to Pops and Grandma's house this week, we stopped and stayed with them and they let us ride their horse, Derby. Wyatt even got to check him out (while he still chewed on his fist of course). I don't even like to think about having to ride on a four wheeler with daddy, but once I got in that saddle I realized that I'd ride on a horse with him anyday. It's not loud like all that farm machinery. My dad, Dr Brad and I went on a little ride, and I sang for the horse while we were riding. We even went a little fast.
After our ride we walked out to the pasture to look at their baby horses. They really liked me.

Thanks a lot Dr Brad and Dr Shelli! Maybe someday you can talk my dad into buying one of your horses for me.

Question

Can someone tell me why Wyatt is always chewing on his fist and why he can't get out of the places he gets himself stuck in?

Paper Mache

How to paper mache a sink.

1. When you're sitting on the potty, mess with the toilet paper a lot so your mom moves it to the counter in the bathroom.

2. Play very nicely at the bathroom sink with the water running. I call it "washing my hands." You'll need a stool so you can easily reach the water. If you wash your hands nicely for several days in a row, then you'll have some time where your parents don't watch you and you can proceed to step 3.

3. When your parents are busy getting ready to leave for the weekend, ask them if you can go wash your hands.
4. Grab the toilet paper on the counter after they leave.

5. Unroll it a little and put the whole roll in the water.

6. Soon the sink will start to fill with water.

7. At some point in here it doesn't hurt to pull out the drain plug. That way a chunk of toilet paper can get stuck in the drain so the water will drain more slowly.

8. As the water fills the sink, mess with the toilet paper so it gets all torn up.

9. Hope that your parents don't catch you until the sink is almost full.

10. Let the water drain while you're gone all weekend and the sink will be paper mached when you get home!
