Rainbow Song

Here's me refusing to sing with mom and asking for a time out.

Here I am being bribed by candy.

Worms

One morning this week it was raining. Mom showed me a worm in the water. I was fasinated and told people about the "worm" in the "water." Today it rained again, and daddy took me out to further investigate worms. He took pictures with his new camera. We picked up the worms and put them in the grass.

Mom was not out with us, so when daddy told me to kiss the worm, no one held me back.

Easter Weekend

Along with figuring out that this new bed means I can get out of bed whenever I want and sneak up and scare my mommy, I did a lot of other things over Easter weekend.

I had to bundle up for an Easter egg hunt. I felt no need to hurry to pick up the eggs or candy. The best part of it was probably getting to eat some of the candy with my friend Sully and seeing his baby brother. I'm really having fun in this picture. I just had to concentrate on eating my candy.

I got some snazzy new shoes and some sidewalk chalk. Watching the chalk roll down the driveway was more entertaining than coloring with it after a while. I did get all dressed up and went to church too. I just wondered why I didn't see Don, Leka, Ninnee and Jill there. I hope they get better soon!

New Bed

Daddy surprised mommy and me and came home from farming a day early. I was very excited to see him until I saw his boots. They made him seem scary. To try and help me feel better about this, my mom put my boots on and daddy and I went to get the mail together in our boots.Daddy coming home early meant that he'll be here to help put me to bed for more than two days in a row, which meant I got to move out of my crib into a big bed. We worked all evening on getting my new room ready. I practiced sleeping on my bed and was very giddy about it.

When it was actually time to go to bed, I was nervous and cried. Mom and Daddy helped me not feel so scared and I eventually fell asleep all by myself. Who said you have to sleep with your head at the top of the bed?
